Diploma of Artificial Intelligence
The 11287NAT Diploma of Artificial Intelligence (AI). A nationally recognised AQF Level 5 qualification for business professionals working outside ICT — eight core units across 12 months blended, $5,995 GST-free. Delivered by our RTO partner Training Worx Australia (RTO 52508), with mentor support from Matiu Rudolph.
Three ways into the Diploma
Move into an AI-shaped role.
You're stepping into roles like AI Optimisation Writer, AI Data Analyst, Customer Experience Manager, or AI Operations Manager. The Diploma gives you a nationally recognised qualification and a portfolio of applied work to show employers — not just a certificate of attendance.
Make AI a real capability in your role, not a topic.
You're a specialist, manager, or owner working outside ICT. You don't need to learn to code — you need to apply AI to the work you're already responsible for. The Diploma is built for non-ICT professionals who want practical, applied AI competency.
Your employer pays, you build the qualification.
One of our most common arrangements. We bill the business directly, provide progress reports to L&D / HR, and supply the procurement paperwork (capability statement, ABN, GST treatment, PO process) corporate teams need.
How the Diploma is delivered
The course is owned by The Digital Technology Academy (CO10636) — the accreditation body that built the qualification. Training Worx Australia (RTO 52508) is our delivery partner: the registered training organisation responsible for delivering, assessing, and issuing the nationally recognised AQF certification documentation. Matiu Rudolphprovides the mentor support and applied-skills coaching — the connective tissue between the qualification framework and the work you do the next day.
What you walk away with
Eight nationally recognised units

The foundation unit. How modern generative AI works, the full prompt-engineering toolkit, and how to get reliable output from large language models across business workflows.
Use AI technologies to produce engaging content
Apply AI across the content production lifecycle — writing, editing, repurposing, and adapting for different channels and audiences without losing voice.
Analyse data and make forecasts using AI
Use AI to extract insight from business data, build forecasts, and communicate findings to non-technical stakeholders. No coding background required.
Optimise a brand's digital presence using AI

Use AI technologies to enhance business operations
Identify, design, and ship AI-augmented operations across the business — process automation, decision support, internal tooling.
Apply AI to improve customer experience
Use AI to lift customer experience — service, support, personalisation, retention — without losing the human warmth that makes a business worth coming back to.
Apply critical thinking and AI ethics
Frameworks for using AI responsibly in commercial settings: bias, accountability, transparency, the Australian regulatory context, and the judgement calls that don't have textbook answers.
Identify opportunities to apply AI, machine learning, and deep learning
Commonwealth ICT Training Package unit. Recognise where AI / ML / deep learning are the right tool for a business problem, and where they're not.
