Terms of service
These terms (the "Terms") govern your access to and use of the Matiu Rudolph website and any training services we provide. Matiu Rudolph (ABN 66 840 417 873) is referred to as "we", "us" or "our". By using our website or booking a course, you agree to these Terms.
1. Services
We provide AI training, workshops, and consulting to Australian businesses, delivered live in person and online. Where a course is described as nationally recognised training, that training is delivered, assessed and certified by our training partner Training Worx Australia (RTO 52508). Their terms and conditions apply in addition to ours for those programmes.
2. Bookings and payment
- All prices listed on our website are in Australian dollars (AUD) and, unless otherwise stated, are inclusive of GST.
- Bookings are confirmed once payment has been received in full or, for invoiced bookings, on the issue of a tax invoice.
- Payments are processed by our third-party payment provider (Stripe). We do not store full payment-card details.
- A tax invoice will be issued for every booking and emailed to the address you provide.
3. Cancellations, refunds and rescheduling
- 14 or more days before the course: full refund or free transfer to a future course.
- 7 to 13 days before the course: 50% refund or free transfer to a future course.
- Less than 7 days before the course: no refund. You may transfer your booking to another person at no cost, with notice.
- If we cancel or reschedule a course, you will be offered a full refund or transfer to the next available date.
- Refunds for nationally recognised training delivered by Training Worx Australia (RTO 52508) are governed by their cancellation and refund policy.
4. Course materials and intellectual property
All course materials, slide decks, prompts, templates, recordings and resources provided to participants remain our intellectual property (or that of our licensors). You are granted a personal, non-transferable licence to use them for your own work. You may not redistribute, resell, publish or use them to train any third party without our written consent.
5. Participant conduct
We are committed to safe, inclusive, professional learning environments. You agree to behave respectfully toward trainers, other participants and our staff, and not to engage in conduct that is harassing, discriminatory, threatening or otherwise inappropriate. We reserve the right to remove any participant from a course without refund where their conduct breaches these expectations.
6. Confidentiality
In group training, participants may share information about their workplaces, workflows and AI use cases. All participants agree to keep that information confidential and to use it only for their own learning. We agree to keep your confidential business information confidential and to use it only to deliver the services you have booked.
7. Use of the website
You agree to use our website lawfully and not to attempt to gain unauthorised access, scrape content, interfere with site operation or upload malicious code. We may suspend or terminate access to anyone who breaches these conditions.
8. Disclaimers
We provide training, education and general guidance. The information shared in our courses, resources and communications is general in nature and does not constitute legal, financial, tax or professional advice. You are responsible for evaluating whether and how to apply what you learn within your own organisation.
While we take reasonable care to ensure our content is accurate and current, AI tools, regulations and best practices evolve rapidly. We make no guarantees about specific business outcomes, productivity gains or commercial results from attending our training.
9. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy you may have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that, our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or our services is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant course or service. We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, incidental, special or exemplary loss or damage.
10. Force majeure
We are not liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations where caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including (but not limited to) illness, natural disaster, government restrictions, civil unrest, internet or utility outages, or pandemic. Where this affects a course you have booked, we will work in good faith to reschedule or refund.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may amend these Terms from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page indicates the most recent revision. The version in force at the time you book applies to that booking.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia. You and we submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Western Australia and any courts of appeal from them.
