Privacy policy

Last updated: 26 April 2026

Matiu Rudolph (ABN 66 840 417 873) ("we", "us" or "our") is committed to protecting your personal information and complying with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). This policy explains how we collect, hold, use and disclose personal information about you, and how you can access or correct that information.

1. What personal information we collect

We may collect the following personal information:

  • Name, email address, phone number, employer and job title
  • Information you provide when enquiring about, booking or attending a course (training preferences, dietary requirements, accessibility needs)
  • Payment information (handled by our payment processor — we do not store full card details)
  • Records of communications with us (email, contact-form submissions, calendar bookings)
  • Technical information automatically collected when you visit our website (IP address, browser type, pages viewed)

2. How we collect personal information

We collect personal information directly from you when you submit a contact form, book a course, sign up to our mailing list, or correspond with us by email or phone. We may also collect information from publicly available sources (such as your employer's website or LinkedIn) to verify business contact details.

3. Why we collect, hold and use your personal information

We collect and use personal information to:

  • Respond to enquiries and provide quotes
  • Deliver, administer and assess training programmes you have booked
  • Process payments and issue tax invoices
  • Send you course updates, reminders and post-training resources
  • Send you marketing communications (only with your consent — you can opt out at any time)
  • Improve our services, content and website
  • Comply with our legal and regulatory obligations

4. Disclosure of your personal information

We may disclose your personal information to:

  • Training Worx Australia (RTO 52508) — for participants enrolling in nationally recognised training (the Diploma of Artificial Intelligence), Training Worx Australia is the registered training organisation responsible for delivery, assessment and AQF certification, and we share enrolment details with them for that purpose
  • Payment processors (such as Stripe) for processing payments
  • Email service providers for sending course communications
  • Hosting and analytics providers used to operate our website
  • Government authorities, regulators or law enforcement where required by law

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information to any third party for marketing purposes.

5. Cross-border disclosure

Some of the third-party services we use (including hosting, payment processing and email delivery) store data on servers located outside Australia, primarily in the United States and Europe. By providing your personal information to us, you consent to this overseas storage. We take reasonable steps to ensure all overseas recipients handle your information in accordance with the APPs.

6. Storage and security

We store personal information in secure, access-controlled systems and apply reasonable physical, technical and administrative safeguards to protect it from loss, misuse, unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected or as required by law.

7. Cookies and website analytics

Our website may use cookies and similar technologies to remember your preferences, measure traffic and improve user experience. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though some site features may not work as expected.

8. Marketing and unsubscribing

If you receive marketing communications from us and no longer wish to, you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any of our emails or by contacting us directly. We comply with the Spam Act 2003 (Cth).

9. Accessing and correcting your personal information

Under APPs 12 and 13, you have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you and to ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate, out of date, incomplete, irrelevant or misleading. To make a request, email matiu@matiurudolph.com. We will respond within a reasonable time and may need to verify your identity before releasing information.

10. Complaints

If you believe we have breached the APPs or mishandled your personal information, please contact us first at matiu@matiurudolph.com so we can try to resolve your concern. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.

11. Children's privacy

Our services are designed for adults in a business context. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under 16 without parental consent.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when it was most recently changed. Material changes will be notified via our website or by email where appropriate.
